At Zest we believe that Charity doesn't always begin at home and with that in mind we like to support our two favourite local charities who work tirelessly to make a massive difference to people's lives.

Candlelighters & Smart Works

Candlelighters cares for and supports families whose children have Cancer and Smartworks supports women who face adversity who are seeking the confidence to gain employment and a brighter future.

Not only are they super human beings to be around, their efforts in fundraising and awareness raising to support families affected by childhood cancer have been excellent, and they are always creative about other ways to get involved and help. "Smart Works Charity is powered by our volunteer population. Every day, they help women change the trajectory of their lives. Last year our Leeds volunteer population supported over 850 women. This year we are aiming to help over 1000.

Without Jo and the other volunteers giving their time so generously we wouldn't be able to achieve our ambitious targets. As well as providing coaching expertise Jo and her team are fantastic cheerleaders, helping us to spread the word into the Leeds and wider Yorkshire community.

We are also companions of the B Corp movement and we actively champion the Better Business Act. Both movements aim to put people and the planet at the heart of everything they do.
